River Asset Management Company has concentrated its investment activity for the past 25 years on the acquisition and management of multifamily housing. These communities have ranged in size from 100 to 400 units. River Asset has focused its search for new investment opportunities in secondary and tertiary markets that have traditionally been overlooked by large institutional investors and, as a result, provide investors with superior absolute returns. The historical investment profile has ranged from “core” to “value-add.”
Going forward, River Asset is concentrating its acquisition efforts on high-growth markets throughout the southeast. While development of new product is inevitable, we are focusing our efforts on markets where the supply pipeline is relatively muted in light of underlying economic trends.
Specifically, River Asset is focused on acquiring value-add multifamily communities that are structurally sound, undermanaged and provide potential upside through interior and exterior renovations.
